Support Us

Nativity Jesuit Academy is not a typical K-8 school. Because of you, it is a “mission that does more” for students and their families on the southside of Milwaukee. Please consider supporting a Nativity student with a gift today!

During the current school year, we serve 258 K4-8th grade students as well as 99 high school-aged alumni through our Graduate Support Program. 100% of Nativity students are Latino and 97% of our students qualify for participation in the School Choice voucher program which acts as a partial scholarship towards Nativity’s total cost of education. Most Nativity students come from the 53215 zip code, which has a median household income of $41,810.

Through your support, you provide incredible opportunities for students like Francisco from Nativity’s Class of 2023:

“During my time at Nativity, I’ve realized that I’ve been given many opportunities to grow and persevere. My teachers help me not only to grow as a learner but also as a person. I know that my teachers want me to succeed in life. I am challenged, ask questions, and learn how to stay organized and be responsible. Not many schools hold you to high standards of how you should act and care for others, but Nativity does.

Your generosity will provide the following unique model of education for students like Francisco:

  • Guided faith development with the principles of Ignatian spirituality
  • A year round academic program for students in grades 1-8
    • Mandatory summer school for grades 1-5 at our Milwaukee campus
    • A mandatory academic summer residential program for grades 6-8 in Iron County, Wisconsin known as “Camp Thunderhead.” At Camp Thunderhead, students learn reading, math, and science for six days a week, as well as leadership and life skills.
  • An extended school day for students in grades 6-8 which includes a mandatory after-school study hall and a weekly extracurricular club until 4:30 PM
  • A robust graduate support program that assists students with the transition from eighth grade to high school and then supports students academically, emotionally, and spiritually during their high school career and beyond
  • Family and community engagement and the celebration of Latino culture

As Francisco ‘23 shares, “I know that these opportunities at Nativity are really unique. Without the generosity of people like you, I would not have access to these life-changing moments. By giving a gift, you are providing many opportunities that my classmates and I are so grateful for. Thank you for considering!”

Have you considered a sustaining gift?

Andrea Scrobel has been a sustaining donor since 2017. As she puts it, “Direct deposit is easy for me and I feel good knowing that Nativity can count on my support every month.” When you commit to a sustaining gift, you know that you will be there for our students, making it easier for Nativity to plan and to provide students with the best education possible.

To make your sustaining gift, simply visit our online donation page or select “monthly” in the form above.
