About Us

Nativity Jesuit Academy is a K4-8 co-ed Catholic, Jesuit, urban school serving young men and women. We prepare our students, in partnership with their families, for Christian leadership and service in high school, college, and life. Through a unique and holistic education program, Nativity Jesuit strives to form leaders who are religious, loving, seeking intellectual excellence, committed to justice and open to growth.

100% of Nativity students are Latino and 98% of our students qualify for participation in the School Choice voucher program. We strive to not only transform individual lives, but to transform the southside of Milwaukee through the leadership of our graduates.

Our unique educational model includes:

  • Guided faith development with the principles of Ignatian spirituality
  • Family and community engagement and the celebration of Latino culture
  • An extended school day for students in grades 5-8 which includes a mandatory after-school study hall until 4:30 PM
  • A 12-month academic program for students in grades 1-8
    • Mandatory summer school for grades 1-5 at our Milwaukee campus
    • A mandatory academic summer residential program for grades 6-8 in Iron County, Wisconsin known as “Camp Thunderhead,” where students learn reading, math, and science for six days a week, as well as leadership and life skills
  • Robust graduate support services that assist students academically, emotionally, and spiritually during their high school career and beyond
    • Students are supported in transition from 8th grade to high school
    • Each Nativity graduate is paired with a mentor for their four years of high school
